There are fourAarhus Centres in Bosnia and Herzegovina: the first Aarhus Centre opened in Sarajevo in 2012. One year later, in 2013, it was followed by the Aarhus Centres in Tuzla and Banja Luka. The Aarhus Centre in Zenica was the last to be stablished in 2019.The Aarhus Centres support Bosnia and Herzegovina in reporting on the national implementation of the Aarhus Convention as well as on boosting the citizen-state-private sector interaction. They also focus on participatory local governance and organize activities related to Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR).
