Aarhus Centre Atyrau
The Aarhus Centre Atyrau supports and promotes the implementation of the Aarhus Convention in the Atyrau Province, in Western Kazakhstan.
The mission of Zhaiyk Caspian Aarhus Centre is to implement the norms of the Aarhus Convention on the territory of Zhaiyk-Caspian basin.
ZhCAC covers the Zhaiyk Caspian basin: Atyrau, Mangistau, West Kazakhstan region and, recently, the Aktobe region. The staff consists of a director, accountant, managers and volunteers.
