National Aarhus Centre of Kazakhstan

The National Aarhus Centre of Kazakhstan promotes public participation in decision-making processes through access to information and justice in environmental matters.

The main areas of work are:

• promotion of the Kazakhstani Aarhus Centres networking;;
• promotion of the ratification of the Protocol on Pollutant Release and Transfer Registers;
• establishment of the national Register.
