The Public Environmental Centre Bender supports and promotes the implementation of the Aarhus Convention in Transdniestria, Western Moldova.
The work of the Public Environmental Centre is dedicated to promoting the principles of the Aarhus Convention in Transdniestria (Moldova), through the development of dialogue between civil society, public authorities and the expert community on a wide range of environmental issues. The Centre is an informal platform for the formation of coalitions and partnerships between NGOs in environmental issues, as well as the development of social partnership in the sphere of environmental protection mechanisms.
The Aarhus Centre’s activity is coordinated by an advisory board consisting of representatives from the environmental community, the environmental authorities and the expert community.
