The Centre’s task is to promote the principles of the Aarhus Convention and work towards its implementation.

Our main objective is to assist the public in exercising their rights granted by the international and national legislation. We strive to reach greater public awareness via:

• environmental education;
• independent environmental expertise;
• professional debates through electronic tools to raise public awareness;
• meetings on the ground;
• personal meetings with local authorities and active groups;
• serving as a platform for dialogue and informed decision-making.
