The Aarhus Center Vanadzor supports and promotes the implementation of the Aarhus Convention in Vanadzor and in the Lori Marz Province in Armenia.
The Centre supports the implementation of the Aarhus Convention, promotes public access to environmental information and participation in decision-making in the Lori region in Armenia.
The Centre shall contribute to the creation of a public climate of transparency in environmental affairs and thus to the general democratization and good governance of the country. It cooperates with the state and community government, representatives of business sector, civil society, journalists and of course with other Armenian Aarhus Centres.
The Centre has one employee, who is the Centre coordinator. The annual number of beneficiaries is around 400.
